Hamza’s map-making paper is finally out ! Check it out on arXiv. The work led by Hamza is a result of a truly collaborative and multi-disciplinary effort. For us in the trenches this showcases the added value and usefulness of projects like B3DCMB and its predecessor MIDAS’09. Granted multi-disciplinary collaborations are never easy. For one, they are genuine (scientific) Babel Towers. However, when they deliver, they often deliver unique and original results, while motivating progress in multiple science areas. And then again, they are also fun ! (Though often only in a hindsight …)
The paper is out together with the open-source software, which can be found in the project’s github repository. Enjoy !
