A paper by Clara and company titled “Framework for analysis of next generation, polarized CMB data sets in the presence of Galactic foregrounds and systematic effects” has been just published in Physical Review D. The paper presents a new approach for CMB data analysis which aims at taking into account astrophysical and instrumental effects in a single, self-contained framework. The paper demonstrates and validates the framework on realistic simulations with properties reflecting those of forthcoming ground-based CMB experiments.
The B3DCMB project strives to provide all necessary tools and algorithms needed for an implementation of the framework to actual data sets !
